2. Intellectual Property Rights and Data Usage Licensing
(1) Attribution of Intellectual Property Rights of Provided Data
Intellectual property rights regarding agricultural data, etc. provided by the customer to the Company through the Service (hereinafter referred to as "Provided Data") belong to the customer.
(2) Licensing of Use of Provided Data
The customer grants the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the Provided Data within the scope of the "Purpose of Utilization," such as provision of the Service, research and development of products/services, and statistical analysis.
(3) Attribution of Intellectual Property Rights of Derived Data
Intellectual property rights regarding result data, algorithms, statistical data, know-how, etc. (hereinafter referred to as "Derived Data") newly generated by the Company through processing and analyzing the Provided Data belong to the Company.
3. Joint Use and Provision to Third Parties
(1) Provision to Third Parties
The Company will not provide customers' personal information to third parties except in the following cases:
- When the customer's prior consent is obtained
- When based on laws and regulations
- When necessary for the protection of human life, body, or property
- When it is necessary to cooperate with a national institution, local public entity, or a person entrusted by them in executing affairs prescribed by laws and regulations
- When entrusting all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of utilization
(2) Provision of Agricultural Data, etc. to Third Parties
The Company may provide the Derived Data defined in the preceding article to our partners, research institutions, alliance partners, etc. in a form that cannot identify the customer.
4. Requests for Disclosure, Correction, Suspension of Use, etc. of Personal Information
Customers may request notification of the purpose of use, disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, or elimination of personal information held by the Company based on the Personal Information Protection Act. Upon receiving a request from a customer, the Company will respond promptly after verifying the identity of the customer.
Customers may request the suspension of use or deletion of the Provided agricultural data, etc. at any time. The Company shall respond promptly based on the customer's request. However, this does not apply to Derived Data that has already been generated.
5. Security Management Measures
The Company takes technical, organizational, physical, and human security management measures to prevent unauthorized access, loss, destruction, alteration, and leakage of information in order to protect customers' personal information and agricultural data, etc.
